Continuation rate
The measured probability that a series of outcomes continues in the same direction after a streak, for example how often a coin closes up again after several up windows.
Continuation rate is the empirical test of the momentum instinct. For Kalshi's 15-minute crypto markets it sits close to 50 percent, meaning streaks carry almost no predictive information about the next window, which is why our crypto History tab reports it directly.
